Policeman Assaulted in Tripoli for Trying to Seize Violating Motorbike
A member of the Internal Security Forces was wounded Monday in the northern city of Tripoli as he was trying to seize a violating motorcycle.
The owner of the motorcycle assaulted the policeman and opened fire in his direction at Tripoli's al-Nejmeh Square before fleeing the area, the National News Agency said.
The ISM member was wounded in the head from the beating while the assailant is being pursued by the ISF, the agency added.

Btw, If indeed it is a Sunni department then how can you explain the shia duo interfering in the internal affairs of the ISF when its head recently did some internal personnel assignments within the ISF and Hassan Khalil the shia finance minister objected and is now withholding funding from the ISF "secret or undercover" budget.

ISF sources revealed to NNA the assailant was pursued by the ISF Rapid Deployment Force and arrested in Jabal Mohsen, an impoverished area of Tripoli were crime and drugs are rampant.
The assailant who goes by the nom de guerre of Abu Ali Al Irani is an Alawite and a resident of Jabal Mohsen. He came to Lebanon during the Syrian occupation of Lebanon from Kordahah, the birthplace of Syrian president Bashar Al Assad. He was given Lebanese nationality as part of the Syrian plan to relocate Alawis to Lebanon.
The assailant confessed without further delay to his crime and revealed startling information he was ordered by the head of Arab Democratic party who is now living in Syria under self imposed exile to carry out the attack in order to cause strife and chaos.
The Arab Democratic party is a rogue group backed by the Iranian terrorist organization of hezbollah.
