Strong Lebanon Bloc Calls on Hariri to Take Final Decision

The Free Patriotic Movement-led Strong Lebanon parliamentary bloc on Tuesday called on Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri to take a final decision regarding the formation of the new government.

“The Lebanese are still waiting for positive results from the parliament speaker’s initiative and for the PM-designate’s cooperation with it,” the bloc said in a statement issued after its weekly e-meeting.

The bloc added that on his own, Hariri can also form a government according to the “norms of the constitution and the National Pact” and “on the basis of the French initiative.”

“Seeing as it is impossible to prolong the state of waiting in light of the pressing circumstances, the bloc sees that the PM-designate must take a final decision as to whether or not he wants to form a government,” Strong Lebanon added.

“All the parties concerned must shoulder their responsibilities in terms of highlighting the facts while pushing for formation, because overlooking or distorting them will allow for further waste of precious time,” the bloc went on to say.

Strong Lebanon Bloc Calls on Hariri to Take Final Decision

The same 'Strong' bloc that repeatedly claims it will not participate in the government and won't give it a vote of confidence.
Kindly, execute them.

This party doesn't represent the Christians anymore, though I am for having Lebanon a modern civil country where each person could reach any position irrespective of his or her religion? This party could at most garner 15% of the Christian votes, and those who would vote for it, are the civil servants this party undeservedly planted into the public sector. Hence, this party should be disbanded as its mission for which it was voted for is not there anymore. This party is dead and they know it. Add to that, shouldn't this party have another real person instead of Basil, who is one meter tall, and disappears in the crowd as a midget, to carry the real torch and lead? In addition to that, shouldn't Aoun just resign after having reached the age of 90? We all retire at 65, why then this guy who has surpassed this retirement age by 25 years not show us his back and leave us live in peace? He has destroyed this country!!!!!

I guess Joe Biden and half the presidents of the world should retire as well based on your logic...

Mention any other president than Biden who is above 65 - in democratic countries only. However, Biden is a real leader, not like Aoun, who never applied anything he preached (nothing). He made a book about his plan and then threw it in the garbage bin.
