Jumblat Says Nations of Paris Conference Can Give Info on Nitrates Shipment

Leader of the Progressive Socialist Party Walid Jumblat tweeted on Thursday that “some have a selective memory,” claiming that he was “the first to call for an international investigation committee,” concerning the Beirut port explosion.

He added that “the government has refused” his suggestion.

He also said that the countries that participated Wednesday in the Paris conference for supporting Lebanon “can give sufficient information on the (nitrates) subject.”

Jumblat assumed that the participating countries can provide information about “who has imported and used the nitrates,” unless “the game of nations” doesn’t allow it.
