Report: Aoun-Miqati 14th Meeting Won't be Their Last

New complications have emerged in the cabinet formation process and General Security chief Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim and other forces are trying to resolve them away from the media, informed sources said.

Ibrahim has met with President Michel Aoun and PM-designate Najib Miqati to this end, the sources told the PSP’s al-Anbaa news portal in remarks published Friday.

A date for the fourteenth meeting between Aoun and Miqati is yet to be set, but it does not seem that this meeting will be their last despite the strenuous consultations, the sources added.

“The optimism that the Presidency has promoted is aimed at deceiving the Lebanese and foreign public opinion into believing that Baabda is not responsible for delaying the cabinet formation,” the sources charged.

Stop the joke!
Mikati will not form a government until subsidies are dropped. He will want to start his mandate with the issuance of the ration card to gain political points.
All this talk about shares and names is bogus to gain time.

All politicians care about is to look good. They want to use public money to give the 33% poorest Lebanese (cheapest to buy) aid in order to be in their good graces so they can be reelected.

Mikati was promised money from the west should he form a government. So he accepted the nomination to siphon off the money to his voters and gain political points.
