Eight killed in Israeli strikes on south Lebanon
Israeli strikes on a village near Sidon in south Lebanon on Saturday killed eight people and wounded nine others, five of them seriously, the Lebanese health ministry said.
Earlier on Saturday, Israeli strikes killed 10 people in the Nabatiyeh district, including three emergency workers -- a day after the Lebanese presidency said officials from Lebanon, Israel and the U.S. would meet next week in Washington to "discuss declaring a ceasefire."
