Assailant Held, Freed after Pointing Gun at Marouni Convoy

Security forces arrested on Sunday a man after he pointed his gun at the convoy of MP Elie Marouni near the Phalange party offices in the eastern city of Zahle, the National News Agency reported.
NNA later reported that the man, Dr. Pierre Hilal, was in a white Honda when he pointed the gun at the convoy after it reached the party’s offices near the Central Bank. The security forces immediately dispatched patrols to the area and arrested the assailant, NNA added.
However, following his release later on Sunday, Hilal and a delegation from his family which hails from Zahle visited Marouni at the Phalange party offices and expressed their appreciation for the lawmaker and the family ties that bind them together.
The delegation noted that “Dr. Hilal’s behavior resulted from a misunderstanding.”
For his part, Marouni stressed “his respect for the dear family and thanked God that the incident ended peacefully,” NNA reported.

yeah mowaten like all your miserable existence is based on assumptions and lies , let me tell you something you remember the slaughter between the druze and maronites in late 1800 ? it was Geagea mistake , and the tsunami that killed 1housands of people in srilanka india .... it was Geagea who caused it and the economic ressesion it was Geagea mistake .. khallas ka mahboul we agree that Geagea assassinated all of them from rafic to gebran passing by moughniyei , i remember the night when moughniyei was assassinated we saw Geagea unning tagging his name on the wall of the iranian school and running away ! now go and do something in your life other than putting your failure on Geagea's back !

Dany Chamoun, his wife and his children, Tony Frangieh, Karameh, Mgr Khreich just to name a few.
Oh but yea of course now he became a saint and would never kill a fly, nor the one most likely candidate against him once Aoun retires.
Aoun is older and Geagea probably waits for him to retire. At that point, Pierre's absence will be quite convenient.

Where are your proofs dummy that he killed them , they had a hole government investigating it from 1994 till 1998 it was headed by Ferzli on the command of Hrawi the 2 persons that hated Geagea the most and they didnt find anything agaisnt him now you are telling that you , the biggest failure on earth have proofs that geagea killed them ? show it dummy and stop ridiculing yourslef ! Sadly this is but one incident from many, you can get this in any area in Lebanon and its not a monopoly by the SSNP or the XYZ they are all capable of handling guns. It takes very little brains to hold up a gun and even less to fire it so in that sense we the Lebanese will never learn that its not what makes us a free poeple but rather the slaves of others....pitty the nation.
