Suleiman Slams Political Support Granted to Security Violators

President Michel Suleiman criticized Thursday the political support granted to security violators, pointing out that the leaders should influence rioters and not the contrary.
During a meeting with Minister of Social Affairs Wael Abu Faour, Suleiman said that politicians must shoulder their responsibility in saying the truth, adding that “they should be present at the tough times.”
“Loud voices are not enough for achieving national unity, because it requires the courage and truth,” Suleiman stated.
Interior Minister Marwan Charbel on Wednesday launched a one-month security plan aimed at restoring stability in Lebanon.
The first day of the security plan was marred by the blocking of the airport highway and attempts to cut other roads in the capital in protest at the arrest of Wissam Alaeddine, a member of the group that attacked al-Jadeed television’s building on Monday.

another airport is a must for this country and the rest of the true lebanese no matter what religion they are form. Leave this one in khaldee to hizballah and aoun thugs. It is not that pretty to see abou ali and and imm ali making out in their bedroom while landing next to their illegally constructed building. enuf is enuf.
