The March 14 alliance is reviewing its participation in the upcoming national dialogue session after Hizbullah launched an Iranian-made drone that penetrated Israeli airspace October 6, An Nahar newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The heated debate over the matter prompted the opposition to reconsider its position as it considered that Hizbullah is “usurping” the state's decision-making power.

Sources close to the March 14 camp told the daily that no decision has been taken over boycotting the dialogue session, expected to be held at the Baabda Palace on November 12, however, it is wondering if the launching of the drone aims at obstructing the all-party talks.

The sources said that the dialogue session might be postponed because some main leaders might be present abroad at the time.

The last dialogue session was held on September 20.

Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's acknowledgment on Thursday of the drone which Israel shot down on October 6 came shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hizbullah and vowed to defend his country against further "threats."

Israel routinely sends F-16 fighter planes over Lebanon, in violation of a U.N. Security Council resolution that ended the 2006 war. The Israeli planes have often broken the sound barrier over Beirut and other places as a show of strength, most recently after the drone incident.

Many people are against any parties taking decisions of war and I am one of them. But not when the government is stupidly robbing the country and not defending the land. You all should have thought when u started and still voting for your theives of ministers. It's not HA that is doing wrong but the sheep voters that left their leaders in power and kissed their feet all these years. Stop bloody complaining and take to the streets all of you. Ask for jobs and electricity etc.. Stop going to work, stop driving ur cars. Stop them making money if you and enslaving you. Wake the hell up..

It is a mistake to boycott the National Dialogue session over the drone incident. This lets Hezbollah off the hook and leaves them unaccountable before the nation for usurping national sovereignty. When the law is broken, does the judge boycott his courtroom? Of course not, it is the job of the judge to shine a bright light on the wrongdoing and to restore order.
M14, if it stands for nothing else, it stands for the constitution and national sovereignty, now is not the time to abdicate its role in calling Hezbollah out, on a national stage for what it has done and hold Hezbollah up to the nation for what it is -- An Iranian Partisan group that has usurped Lebanon's national decision making.
