Hizbullah Says it Succeeded in Absorbing Indictment’s Impact

Hizbullah sources said the Shiite party had succeeded in absorbing the strife-prone impact of the indictment that is expected to be issued by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.

In remarks to pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat on Thursday, the sources said: “We expect the indictment to be issued any moment but we consider ourselves that we succeeded in absorbing its strife prone impact.”

“We don’t think it (the indictment) would have any implications on the ground,” they said.

The indictment is expected to name Hizbullah members of involvement in ex-Premier Rafik Hariri’s assassination.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti al-Rai newspaper quoted diplomatic sources as saying that “the indictment would cause an earthquake” in Lebanon after reports said it could go beyond the expectations of involved parties.

The earthquake has already happened in Lebanon when Saad Hariri was ousted from the Grand Serail and power with all his gang ...

The second stronger eartquake will take place when Saad and his gang will be judged and jailed for corruption and power abuse for 20 years , followed by the seize of all their bank accounts and especially Solidere and all their properties in Lebanon and aronud the world .

The indictment is a joke comparing to that .

Hopefully soon they will succeed in apologising to the lebanese people and to the parents of the victims of the assassinations and the unnessecary wars.

This indictment is not only for the benefit of the Hariri's, it is however for each and every Lebanese that was assassinated by local or foreign perpetrators in the last 31 years.

Justice always prevails even if it takes years. Furthermore, 5000 years of civilization will never ever vanish regardless of any foreign intervention.

Lebanon will always come up on top, and you can take this to the bank.

“We expect the indictment to be issued any moment but we consider ourselves that we succeeded in absorbing its strife prone impact.”

meaning "we did a coup, took the government by force as planned, we threaten people of assassination who stand against us like in the old syrian days so now we will not obey the STL..."

What a divided people, such a shame, what could have been, will never be, Lebanese people , sadly don't deserve this beautiful country, you should all retreat to where you came from, Iran, turkey, Syria, and to the Christians, I am not sure where to..
your story is a sad one, and will remain so..

Roger

If you're so into justice, how about we start by throwing the murderer Dr. Gaega back in jail where he belongs.

JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED COME WHAT MAY!! The Criminal Iranian terrorist street gang Hezb Ebola and its masters in Damascus in Tehran will pay for all their countless crimes against Lebanon. This is just the tip of the Iceberg...

This is not a Shiite militia anymore. This has proven to be nothing but a filthy murdering branch of Mossad. They must be elminated and send back to Israel.

hello dear readers,

let me enlighten you:

1) the indictment is politically biased.
2) as long as such a fabulous justice system judges the wrong people, there will be no justice, only hatred and bloodshed, similar to what is happening now on these forums.
3) hizballah is the best thing that happened to this country, it has proven once again that arabs are strong and particularly Lebanese have the willpower to fight the enemy we have had for generations. Hizballah has restored hope in our fight for freedom, murderers like Geagea are blinding you people!

for now this is all i have to say, I am not asking you to go March 8, or start waving flags, only consider the reality that is occurring, and how the other camp must feel given their views and past decisions.

This is a political game, the last blow of Isreal/USA, and trust me it serves no better future for our country.

Hello dear takz let me enlighten you, that argument is an oldie but not a goodie used in reference to the PLO in the fifties sixties seventies and eighties it burned Lebanon. But thank you for your effort and for participating. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

A lot of stupid people here. First and foremost, do you even understand what amnesty means? Everyone who committed crimes in the civil war was given an amnesty. Hariri and the sunni bloc are allied with gaegae and I dont hear them wanting to jail gaegae. The LF wasnt in war with the shiites in the civil war. Why even bother
