Saudi Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, who has been undergoing medical tests abroad, is in "good health" and will "soon" return to the kingdom, local media reported on Sunday.

Prince Nayef is "well and in good health... and he will soon return" to Saudi Arabia, said his brother and one of the deputy interior ministers, Prince Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz.

President Michel Suleiman said he hasn’t pressured al-Mustaqbal movement leader ex-PM Saad Hariri to respond to him on an invitation for the National Dialogue at Baabda Palace set for June 11.

In remarks to As Safir daily published Saturday, Suleiman said: “I didn’t ask him to attend the dialogue session but discussions focused on the advantages and the disadvantages of the National Dialogue.”

President Michel Suleiman held talks with Saudi King Abdullah in Jeddah on Friday, more than a week after the monarch announced his support for the National Dialogue that the Lebanese head of state had called for.

The talks were attended by the Lebanese official delegation accompanying Suleiman, including Public Works Minister Ghazi Aridi.

President Michel Suleiman traveled to Saudi Arabia on Friday for talks with King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, on a previously unannounced one-day visit, state-run National News Agency reported.

Suleiman’s visit comes after he received on May 22 a letter from the Saudi monarch saying the kingdom is monitoring the situation in Lebanon with “deep concern” following the latest clashes in Tripoli, “especially since they targeted a main sect in the country.”

The head of the Independence Movement Michel Mouawad visited Saudi Arabia this week at an invitation by its Foreign Ministry, announced his press office in a statement.

He held talks with deputy Foreign Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah on the latest Lebanese and regional developments.

A Saudi court overturned on Wednesday provisions of a labor ministry circular that allowed saleswomen to work alongside men in shops, a lawyer told Agence France Presse.

The court in Riyadh "abolished part of the decision by the ministry of labor which allowed shop owners to employ men and women in the same place," based on a law suit filed by businessman, lawyer Mohammed al-Zamel told AFP.

Saudi Arabia on Tuesday renewed a warning to its citizens not to visit Yemen, still reeling from a year of political unrest and an ongoing war against al-Qaida, the state news agency SPA said.

"Given the instability and the security situation" in Yemen, "the (foreign) ministry is renewing its warning to all citizens not to travel" there "until the situation is stabilized," an official said in a statement carried by SPA.

Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali stated on Tuesday that the discovery of the Lutfallah II ship that was smuggling arms to Syria was among the factors that prompted the Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations Bashar al-Jaafari to send a letter to U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon complaining about Lebanon’s alleged harboring of “terrorist elements.”

Ali stated after holding talks with Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour: “Jaafari’s letter is based on facts on the ground in Lebanon.”

Amnesty International on Monday urged Saudi Arabia to free Shiite prisoners arrested for taking part in "peaceful" protests and those detained without charge in the kingdom's Eastern province.

In a report called "Dissident Voices Stifled in the Eastern Province," where most of the country's minority Shiites live, the rights group said hundreds of individuals, mainly men, but also children, had been arrested since March 2011.

The 11 Lebanese pilgrims abducted in Aleppo are in a good condition and will be released by tomorrow night, spokesman of the Syrian al-Ahrar party Naser Doqmaq revealed on Saturday.

“The abducted Lebanese are in a good condition but the latest developments in Syria postponed their release,” Doqmaq said in statement.
