رفعت عيد: استدعاء والدي للتحقيق بتفجيري طرابلس هو "تخط للخطوط الحمر"

Read this story in English W460

ENOUGH is ENOUGH is ENOUCH..... Wlak tfeh w'seteen alf tfeh...... Yes, this a Red and very dark Red line. For the life of me, how in the world can this incompetent Sunni ISF intelligence bureau summon this noble man from Alawi Jabal Mohsen. A man who has dedicated his life to peace, education, children, and the environment. His accomplishments are numerous, his achievements are immense, his popularity among Lebanese of all sects is immeasurable. I, Roaring-Flamethrower demand we form a human chain from Ghazeer, linking Dahiyeh, and ending up in Jabal Mohsen. We will sacrifice our lives for you, Ali and Rifaat Eid.

What would the Arabic Democratic Party have to gain? This is nothing more than pay back for the Alawite community.. FSA is well and truly at the end of their existence in Syria and a lot of them have fled Syria and joined rank with bab tebeneh fighters (this isn't speculation, it is fact). With any investigative role,, the number one clue to consider is mode of operation (MO) which bring about the question, have jabal mohsen or Arabic Democratic Party ever exploded cars in the past that targeted mass civilians? The answer is no.. Incompetent Hariri ISF,, go look at the extremists that you supported in Syria to end the Assad rule.. That's is where your killers are hiding among you.. But then again your Saudi masters will not allow you!

Child you are obviously too young to recall there was a time when no one owned a cell phone, there was no texting, tweeting, facebooking and no instagraming and when you had to unhook the wall bolted home phone and wait for a pulse, one hopefully eventually happened. And there was a time when Syria's moukhabarat and their tools "exploded cars that targeted mass civilians" up and down the Lebanese territory. What's the Arabic Democratic Party but a Syrian tool, pick a Eid and ask it. So the answer to your question is yes, not no. Nice argument nevertheless, although we've all heard it before. But back then it was the Zionists or such instead of the Saudis.
Also distructive a friendly advise to spare you further embarrassment, remember how quickly the rabid dog Raad was muzzled by his own party after he jumped the gun and attacked Samaha's arrest as a fabrication, tsktsk.

" Ali Eid was summoned over testimonies his driver Ahmed Mohammed Ali had made during the investigation over the Tripoli blasts."

It is only natural that Ali Eid be questioned. It is his own driver that is implicated in the Tripoli blasts.

Eid should comply or if possible arrange to be questioned at his residence by the Internal Security Forces Intelligence Bureau.

Thumb _mowaten_ 12:59 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

i agree he should answer the summon, as long as the questioning can be guaranteed to be done by the book (ISF is not known for their respect of human rights, torture is standard practice with them).

if he is involved in the bombings nobody will support or defend him, if he isnt then we need to uncover the real perpetrators.

Missing peace 13:31 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

here he should answer the summon but it seems it does not apply to hezbis and the STL! LOL

Thumb _mowaten_ 13:37 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

peace: the STL is a foreign political tool imposed on lebanon with the complicity of sanioura and was established in a way that contravenes our constitution. they can go boil an egg

Thumb _mowaten_ 13:38 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

witch: another fake account? i see some people are struggling hard to earn their pay. new aliases are popping out everyday, posting the same pointless, irrelevant comments.

who was speaking of army intelligence here? and how is it related to the above article?

Missing peace 13:49 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

sure mowaten, we know your motto... everyone should abide by laws except hezbollah... you ll always find excuses to make them appear innocent of everything! LOL

it is called fanatism....

Thumb lebanon_first 13:58 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

mowaten. I appreciate the subtleness in your stance.

You dont tolerate any attack on HA. But you show nuance, and are open when someone attacks syrian proxies in lebanon.

I give you a + 1

Thumb _mowaten_ 15:27 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

l_f: i dont tolerate political tribunals, no matter who they target. how convenient was it to put the stl together after the military failure in 2006? instead of waging a war and try to get the commanders, just summon them to a tribunal that can sentence them without proof!
the problem with the stl is that the very way it functions goes against any and all judicial standards. it's a masquerade that only those who expect to profit from it pretend to believe

Missing peace 16:21 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

i guess then the tribunal for yugoslavia was political, the tribunal for rwanda was political, the tribunal for darfur, libya, central africa LOL
dozens of countries investigated, some not in favor of israel, but they were political...

the funniest part is that mowaten pretends that they have no proofs while not even knowing what is between their hands! LOL
usually evidence are presented during the court session, not before, but sure hezbi know what the STL have and what they haven't! waw!
pityful people....
typical answer of people afraid of the results and VERY convenient to refute... just arguments from the weak....

Thumb LebCynic 10:28 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

@peacelover in order for your argument to be validated you need to answer 1 question.. Why do the residence of bab tebeneh refuse to allow the army into their area? Why are they continually clashing, injuring even killing our soldiers? No one sees this in jabal mohsen the army is welcomed there even supported by jabal mohsen residence.. So why don't we concentrate on the ones that are attacking our state? Instead we criticize the minority that is surrounded!!

Thumb LebCynic 10:44 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

And you can present information that says otherwise? Information that contradicts the fact that the army is excluded from bab tebeneh that the army is attacked by thugs from bab tebeneh?

Thumb arzak-ya-libnan 11:59 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

so a bombing happened in dahyeh... the army was exluded from dahyeh.. so HA did it? hahaha case settled...

We live in a a Zoo when this criminal can refuse a summon to be questened. Time to bring him in by force for questioning and if there is any resistance, crush that mafia he runs. This should be the same for everyone. We, normal law abiding citizens, should not tolerate to be ruled over by thugs that consider themselves to be above the laws of the country.

Default-user-icon dddd (ضيف) 12:25 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

Yea sure ya rif3at! Ali is above the law, people and state, he can blast anyone without even being questioned! Guess what? winds of change are blowing Sucker and your licence to kill has just expired.

Thumb _mowaten_ 13:06 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

phoenix i can't support that comment of yours because partition is not a solution.

look at syria and lebanon, isnt the trouble there overflowing here? why would it be different between areas if we had partition? troubles in one area would overflow into another, and each area would be left alone to deal with problems, making it more likely to fall to extremist groups and be turned into a stronghold to attack other areas.
this is not to mention the bickering between leaders which today are contained in the political 'circus', possibly turning into actual wars.
i believe in this nation and i think we should stand together in adversity, not succumb to "every man for himself" temptations because they would make us all weaker and more vulnerable.

Thumb lebanon_first 14:06 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

Mowaten. You are wrong. The syrian crisis is flowing into arsal, hermel and Tripoli. Because people there feel more allegiance to Syria than to lebanon.
Sunnite lebanese are closer to sunnite syrians than to christian lebanese. When the PLO was killing christian lebanese, sunnite lebanese were mum. But when assadists kill sunnite syrians, sunnite lebanese get all excited.
Same can be said about chiites. They take instructions from iran and dont give a damn about their partners in lebanon.
The only patriots in lebanon who dont have an "umma" and beleive in lebanon are druze and christians.
This is why the syrian civil war is not having security repercussions in druze and christian regions.
As for partition, it would have been a dream. But it is too late. Aoun's biggest mistake ever was to break the christian's back and make that dream impossible.

Thumb _mowaten_ 15:35 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

l_f: i would answer you and tell you why you're wrong, give you historical and contemporary examples of this or that sect which disprove your affirmations, but i wont because this would mean playing your game and getting into your analytical framework, which is a bit too sectarian to my taste.
you can't classify how by people think by religion. patriotism is an individual thing first, then cultural and educational.

Thumb _mowaten_ 18:08 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

phoenix of course we all wish we didnt have all these trouble, but did we chose them? some people did, but they didnt ask our opinion. when regional or international powers decided to include us in their games, did they ask our opinion? when zionists decided to colonize the region (not just palestine, their motto is and still was from nile to euphrates), did they ask the locals their opinion?
yes, i too wish we could just live our lives without having to fight for issues as simple as the right to live in our country, to raise our children away from all the horrors of war, to exploit our natural wealths, to move freely across our lands, but fate decided otherwise, and we shouldnt fall to confusion as to who are our enemies and who are our own. divisions among lebanese only serve those who want to conquer us.
no they didnt

Thumb _mowaten_ 18:10 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

banimaarouf: your talk is disgustingly sectarian and i decided to no longer bother with those who are here to provoke not to share ideas. but here's a free piece of advice.
if you care about the fate of sunnis then direct your anger at those who are killing them the most: takfiris.

Thumb _mowaten_ 15:36 ,2013 تشرين الأول 31

lol it would all depend on the circumstances and cases, but we can't know coz that never happened :)
the only ones who caught israeli spies here were hezbollah and the army intelligence.

Now, you want to live alone and are calling for partition? hehehehe.....! You deserve to live next to your idol.... and share heroics that destroyed the country you claim you love and are ready to die for. Fake Fake Fake

@the1, I live in Texas, the majority of Texans want to secede from the United States and become a sovereign country. It is a pipe dream, a brilliant fantasy that will never happen. Do you know why? because it will never work and that's reality. Wishful thinking keeps our hopes alive but reality tries to crush them on a daily basis. I understand your frustration and confirm your right to live in peace and in the pursuit of your happiness but how will partition be successful my friend? You know in your heart that it wouldn't. I wish you peace, but cigars and scotch and a good BBQ is as good as it's going to get for a while my friend.

Forgive my ignorance, but if borders in the Levant were drawn quite arbitrarily by colonial powers, and various pan-ethnic groups can't assimilate into a shared culture, does that not render the concept of Lebanese nationalism meaningless? Doesn't it seem reasonable to split the territory up into sovereign states sharing similar values? Am I missing something here?

Thumb Mystic 02:17 ,2013 تشرين الثاني 01
