عباس يتصل بالراعي: زيارتك تساهم في صمود القدس وعروبتها وليست تطبيعا

رحب الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس بزيارة البطريرك الماروني بشارة الراعي إلى القدس المرتقبة في أيار الجاري حين سيرافق البابا فرنسيس إلى الأراضي القدسة، مؤكدا أنها "تساهم في صمود وعروبة" هذه المدينة، رافضا بشكل قاطع اعتبارها "تطبيعا" مع إسرائيل.
وأكد عباس في اتصال مع الراعي على دعوته وترحيبه بزيارته الى الاراضي المقدسة ولقائه بأبنائه، معتبرا ان "هذه الزيارة تساهم في صمود وعروبة القدس وفلسطين وفي تعزيز الاخاء المسيحي - الاسلامي بعيدا عن السياسة والتطرف".
كما ثمن عباس "بركة غبطته ومحبته من خلال هذه الزيارة شكر للشعب اللبناني استضافته للفلسطنيين ودعمه لقضيتهم".
وعلى أثر الاتصال صدر بيان عن الرئاسة الفلسطينية قال فيه عباس أن "الزيارة اسهام كبير في الحفاظ على صمود وعروبة القدس وفلسطين".
كما أعرب عن تقديره الكبير "لقرار وتصريحات البطريرك الراعي بشأن زيارته القادمة إلى فلسطين، وخاصة لمدينة القدس، حيث عبر في كلماته عن أصدق وأعمق معاني الحفاظ على عروبة القدس وعلى التواجد الإسلامي - المسيحي في زهرة المدائن المهددة يوميا بالتهويد".
وأضاف عباس "أهلا وسهلا بضيف فلسطين الكبير، رأس الكنيسة المارونية بتاريخها العريق في الحفاظ على العروبة لغة وثقافة، وأهلا وسهلا بغبطتكم في بلدكم الثاني فلسطين".
وأثارت زيارة الراعي بلبلة في لبنان الأسبوع الفائت لأنها الأولى لبطريرك ماروني منذ قيام دولة إسرائيل عام 1948. ورد الراعي عليها الثلاثاء بشدة معتبرا أنه يزور بيته ورعيته وقائلا "من ينزعج منها لا يأت إلى بكركي".
عليه أعلن عباس للراعي أن "زيارتكم ليست تطبيعا كما اعتاد أن يردد ذلك بعض المزاودين وأصحاب الأجندات الخاصة المطالبة بعدم زيارة فلسطين والقدس لأنها تحت الاحتلال وكأنهم بموقفهم هذا يسلمون بالأمر الواقع".
وتابع "نقدر لكم يا صاحب الغبطة زيارتكم المباركة لأرضكم وللقدس التي هي مدينتكم وللفلسطينيين المحاصرين، وأهلا بكم ضيفا عزيزا، وقلوبنا مفتوحة قبل بيوتنا يا غبطة البطريرك لكم ولكل اللبنانيين لنرد لإخواننا اللبنانيين بعض جميلهم على استضافتهم لمئات آلاف اللاجئين الفلسطينيين".
ونوه الرئيس الفلسطيني "بما قدمه لبنان بكل فئاته وطوائفه من دعم وتضحيات لشعبنا الفلسطيني، إلى جانب كفاحه من أجل العدل والسلام في أرض السلام".
ويرافق الراعي، البابا فرنسيس في زيارته الى الاراضي المقدسة بين 24 و26 ايار الجاري، في اطار جولة ستشمل ايضا الاراضي الفلسطينية والاردن.
ولبنان في حالة حرب رسميا مع اسرائيل. ولا يمكن لاي لبناني ان يزور اسرائيل تحت طائلة الملاحقة القانونية بتهمة "التعامل مع العدو"، الا ان رجال الدين المسيحيين، وبموجب اتفاق ضمني بين السلطات الدينية والسياسية، يذهبون الى الاراضي المقدسة في اطار مهامهم الروحية مع الرعايا المسيحيين.

when Lebanon is stuck with 2 million Syrian refugees, plus 1 million bangla desh, srilankns soudanese etc.. this is not the time to keep our mouth shut. On the contrary this is the time to open our mouth and tell everyone enough is enough it is time we take our country back and open our mouth tell these refugees go home. we cannot be a center for 3rd world refugees while we have 12 million Lebanese living abroad

Coolmack: My comment about knowing when not to speak narrowly relates to underlying issue in this post in connection with the Maronite Patriarch's visit to Holly Land. Since some skeptics want to paint the visit political in nature (whether in fact it is or not I am not making a judgment) and undermine whatever good that potentially may come out of the visit, it is better if Palestinian political leaders keep their mouths shut and manage their affairs behind the scenes so not to jeopardize the desired result of the visit. Other than that, I agree with you 100% in above.

no body has the right to stop the patriarch from doing such trip especially that he made it clear that he will not hold any meetings with politicians and such move will be more of a Fnger to Israel by Lebanon as our most powerful Religious figure will be stepping in Palestine and blessing its Arab Christian Citizens thus declaring Israel illegitimate! Thumbs up to RAHI and if any politician wana comment they rather comment their illegitimate Parliament which has been extended and the repercussions of their corruption that is leading the country to great Chaos...

According to Israel, ALL MARONITES can visit Israel easily, but not according to Lebanon which forbids its citizen to travel there.
