بري يطلب 'استطلاع الاميركيين بمسألة الحدود البحرية" بين لبنان واسرائيل

كلّف رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري السفير اللبناني في الولايات المتحدة الاميركية استطلاع المسؤولين في واشنطن حول توقف مهمة موفدها في مسألة الحدود البحرية اللبنانية بملف النفط.
فقد نقلت صحيفة "الجمهورية"، الجمعة، عن زوار بري قوله ان يولي ملف النفط "أهمية كبيرة"، وانه يجري في شأنه "اتصالات ومشاورات داخلياً وفي مختلف الاتجاهات لدفعه إلى نهاياته السعيدة ولتمكين لبنان من الاستفادة منه".
الى ذلك، أفاد بري زواره انه طلب من سفير لبنان في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية أنطوان شديد أن "يستطلع من الإدارة الاميركية أسباب توقّف موفدها آموس هوكستين المكلّف معالجة النزاع الحدودي البحري بين لبنان وإسرائيل عن مهمته",
ومنذ بضعة اشهر خلف هوكستين، فريديريك هوف في هذه المهمة.
ومن المتوقع ان يلتقي بري قائد القوات الدولية العاملة في الجنوب "اليونيفيل" الجنرال لوتشيانو بورتولانو لبحث الدور الذي على الأمم المتحدة وقوات "اليونيفيل" القيام به لمساعدة لبنان على حماية حقوقه في المنطقة الاقتصادية الخالصة البحرية واستعادة ما قرصَنته إسرائيل منها.
يُذكر انه، في تموز 2013 تمكنت الحكومة من تثبيت سيادتها على 530 كيلومتراً مربعاً من منطقة لبنان الاقتصادية الخالصة من أصل 854 هي موضع تنازع مع إسرائيل، بعدما استطاعت انتزاع اعتراف من الولايات المتحدة والامم المتحدة بحق لبنان في هذه المساحة من بحره.
من الجدير بالذكر ان رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري يطالب ومنذ حكومة الرئيس نجيب ميقاتي، حين كان جبران باسيل وزيراً للطاقة بتلزيم البلوكات النفطية دفعة واحدة، الا ان الاخير كان يصر على البدء بتلزيم البلوكات النفطية المحازية لاسرائيل، وقد وضع مرسومين لهذه الغاية مطالباً بعقد جلسة حكومية لبتهما. والمرسوم الأول يتعلق بإطلاق التراخيص للشركات التي ستلتزم "البلوكات"، وهو أنجز بعد تشكيل هيئة ادارة قطاع البترول.
أما المرسوم الثاني، فكان قد أقر في العام 2010، أي قبل تشكيل الهيئة، وهو عبارة عن اتفاقية تقاسم الانتاج مع الشركات التي ستكون مسؤولة بعد انتهاء المناقصات عن أعمال الحفر والتنقيب والاستخراج. ويحتاج هذا المرسوم الى قانون يصدر عن مجلس النواب، لكي يصبح ساري المفعول.

(2). Berri Baba. A blatant thief like Berri who still kisses the backsides of non-Lebanese, who still splits the Lebanese cake with his non-Lebanese masters is one that should be behind bars, and definitely not talking for the wellbeing nor for the economic guardianship of Lebanon's interests. When most Lebanese can't barely subside, Berri Baba's son are busy running Dad's businesses in the US, among other places of course. Tfeh.

the naive M8ers still believe that the oïl will make Lebanon prosperous... they have NO guarantee in that. seeing how lebanese politicians behave, all filling their pockets, why would they share this wealth with the lebanese rather than filling their pockets? Nigeria is a good example that i am sure lebanese politicians will follow...
the rush and excitement only M8ers put in the oil file is a proof of that! foaming like rabid dogs at the sight of money, but they will never let the lebanese benefit from it....

it looks like there is a rush to find new source of revenue as assad is broke
however it will take years before the gas could generates profits, and no company will invest if there is no agreement with cyprus and israel, in order to optimize investments

Berri, take your balls and your brain with you, go to Israel with a map of the maritime zone you want for Lebanon, propose the demarcation or the border with Israel on this basis with in exchange the end of all hostilities between the two countries.
This doesn't mean necessarily peace, but the end of the state of war between both countries, which is totally anachronical and doesn't benefit to Lebanon.
