اعلنت سلطات الامارات الاربعاء تفكيك خلية تضم سعوديين واماراتيين كانوا يخططون لتنفيذ هجمات "ارهابية" في البلدين وفي دول اخرى "شقيقة".

وجاء في بيان رسمي بثته وكالة انباء الامارات انه "بالتنسيق مع الجهات الأمنية المختصة بالمملكة العربية السعودية تم إلقاء القبض على خلية منظمة من الفئة الضالة من مواطني البلدين كانت تخطط لتنفيذ أعمال تمس بالأمن الوطني لكلا البلدين وبعض الدول الشقيقة".

It is funny, they arrest them in their countries. Yet they send them financial support and weapons as long they are away from them.

I find this very weird... I thought they were close to the moslem brotherhood, Qatar is financing al qaeda in syria, and yet they arrest them...I wonder what the end game of the GCC leaders is.

I know that Qatar and bandar bin sultan in saudi are the most extremist of the bunch while king abdallah of Saudi is a peace loving monarch, allah ykhalli 3ayich. Maybe the GCC is divided between qaeda trouble makers (Qatar, Bandar...) and "peace lovers" (King abdallah, Emirates)
