In the past 2 years, thousands have crossed into Syria through the Lebanese, Iraqi, Turkish and Jordanian borders. Wasn't Sheikh Asir in Qusayr a month or so ago proud of firing at enemy forces?

To: independence, Hey man let them cross.. I hope they all do... China will be making more of those yellow bags soon. I do hope Nassrallah crosses too... The more they cross the better off Lebanon will be.

@sanctify: Yes, you are right. Assir went there to fire at the enemy as you rightfully stated. But, how come the enemy (HA) happened to be there first?

I never said anything about Future. Just wondering what's the difference of radicals, be them shiites or sunnis, fighting in Syria. Now that HA are crossing, I'm hearing calls for tighter border control by the same people who facilitated the crossing of fighters over 2 years.
In any case, I look at the whole picture in the Middle East and I don't understand the fact that after so many threats that the US issues against Iran and axis, they still have not taken any action against them, neither in Iran, nor in Syria and Lebanon and have given Iraq to the Shiites thus strengthening the Iran axis. While the US keeps on hitting the sunni interests more in Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan and everywhere else in the muslim world and I really doubt that they will take any action in support of the FSA.

The US and Israel wants the inter islamic war and Hezbollah is playing right into their hands: minorities armed to the teeth against majority lightly armed and therefore the stalemate. Meanwhile Russia and Iran are slowly sinking into the Syrian quagmire so really why would the US interfere?? This is all music to Israeli ears and pretty much costs next to nothing. The real scapegoats are the youngsters of Hezbollah dying in vain and earning the wrath of the Arab for decades to come. The Syrian people can not be defeated just like Israel could not defeat the people in the south, looks like it's gonna take us so much death and destruction to figure this one out.

Doesn't care = Islamic civil war, if it wasn't in Israel interest it would have been dropped before it had the potential to start. The US would sell the weapons to the gulf that fears Iran, like I said rebels are not gonna be armed otherwise the balance would tip quickly: after all they had 60 percent of Syria with little weaponry. There's no doubt that Israel wants Islamic civil war and thrives on sectarianism. Arrangements could be made for it'd borders. Hezbollah in.the south and Jordanian supported FSA in daraa, that is not impossible

There's no conspiracy, the problem is deep within our societies. Doesn't take much to exploit. Religion had the potential for thousands of years of war

Between holding ground in al-Qusayr and capturing Hizbullah fighters, these rebels surely cannot count their achievements anymore as evidenced by their hallucinating spokespersons who are filling the airwaves! This is further evidenced by the orgasmic comments of the NostraDamsels here and elsewhere! al kaf bi ra2beton w3am ybare3to kamen! What a travesty!

1phoenix, plz drop the arrogance. Funny how you forget to mention how many christians still desire and accept France as the mother or vangaurd of Lebanon. What about those christians that would in a heart beat allign with Israel if it meant the return of christian domination of Lebanon. I too hate to sound sectarian because I am the last person to accept sectarianism. Phoenix, you need to come down from your high chair and admit that all factions in Lebanon have made mistakes and continue to do so including your Geaga. You need to begin to see more good in others than frown on the bad, The vast majority of muslims and christians in Lebanon are honorable citizens and want the best for each other and the country as a whole. Enough with the doom and gloom phoenix.
