عون متمسك برفض التمديد لقهوجي: بدأت بتحضير الطعن بالقانون

شدد رئيس "تكتل التغيير والاصلاح" النائب ميشال عون على رفضه التمديد لقائد الجيش العماد جان قهوجي، معلناً أنه سيطعن بالتمديد في حال أقر، التزاماً منه بالحفاظ على الدستور من الاخطاء التي ترتكب بحقه.
وفي حديث الى صحيفة "الاخبار"، الخميس، انتقد عون، رئيس "تيار المستقبل" سعد الحريري، بأنه طرح مسألة التمديد لقهوجي، بعد انتصار الجيش في معركة عبرا في صيدا على جماعة امام مسجد بلال بن رباح الشيخ احمد الاسير، "حتى يستفيد من همروجة الناس حول الجيش لتمرير التمديد وهو عمل غير قانوني".
وتابع، قائلاً "هناك قوانين يجب احترامها"، مجدداً التزامه بموقفه الطعن بالتمديد لقهوجي في حال اقراره، مشيراً الى أنه بدأ التحضير للطعن، متسائلاً "ألا يوجد عدد كبير من الضباط العمداء الذين يتمتعون بالكفاءة؟".
من هنا، ولدى الاشارة الى أنه لا توجد حكومة لتعيين قائد للجيش، قال عون "لا يزال أمامنا ثلاثة أشهر، فلماذا الاستعجال؟ يبدو أن هناك نية لتعطيل الحكومة بعدما تعطل كل شيء".
واعتبر أن قانون التمديد لقهوجي وللقادة الامنيين "سيمدد ثلاث سنوات للعمداء والعقداء، أي سيصبح لدينا مجموعة كهول في الجيش. فهل يمكن الضابط الميداني أن يعمل كالمحامي والسفير وراء مكتبه".
وقال: "هل أنا ملزم بالأخطاء التي ترتكب في حق الدستور. ما قيمتي كتكتل تغيير وإصلاح اذا وافقت على الاخطاء بالتشريع".
يُشار الى أن ولاية قهوجي تنتهي في ايلول المقبل مع بلوغه سن التقاعد القانوني الـ60، الا أن المطالبين بالتمديد له وللقادة الامنيين يعزون السبب الى الاوضاع الامنية التي يمر بها لبنان في مختلف مناطقه.
أما عن العلاقة مع "حزب الله" ورئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري، قال عون أن الخلاف هو مع الأخير، الا اذا وقف الحزب مؤيداً للتمديد، وأردف "نحن اختلفنا على التمديد لمجلس النواب، ولكن لا أعتبر ذلك أساسياً، بل يمكن إصلاحه. ولا أستبق للحدث، بل أنتظر ماذا سيحصل".
وعما اذا كان سيعيد النظر في علاقته مع الحزب، أوضح عون أن "الواحد يفتش إذا تكررت الاختلافات. كل واحد لديه طاقة على الاحتمال. فإذا وصلت إلى مكان لا يعود فيه يتحمل يقوم بإعادة نظر. وهذه الإعادة إما تبقيه في مكانه أو تنقله، ولكنها على الأرجح تنقله".

Wrong Phil, you all are blinded by hatred. Aoun has so many mistakes but you cannot discredit the man for wanting democracy to prevail. What the deputies did last month extending their term is a disgrace to Lebanon and us people above all. Even Egypt had its own democratic elections, hell even Yemen had one under extraordinary situations. Why can we have parties and festivals and all but we cannot have democratic elections? Why do we need to extend Kahwaji's term when there are hundreds of capable generals? This has nothing to do with Shamel Roukoz who is regardless of everyone’s hate, one of the best generals. But I wouldn’t want him to become commander in chief just because I don’t want idiots like Geagea and Hariri to make a big story out of it. Let Lebanon survive, let us all return to Lebanon at least for vacation, why do you all aim at cancelling each other?

Did someone just say that the ministry of energy has become profitable? That someone either doesn't live in this country or is a total idiot. Electricity was always bad in Lebanon, but never this bad! The only reasons Aoun opposed extension of the parliament is to have the right to oppose the renewal for the Army Chief and the President, one he wants to give for his son-in-law and the other for himself. If he resigns, he's faction that is for the stringent imposition of the rule of law will be diminished.
Think of it this way: If your neighbors in the building are divided over burning the whole thing down, should you leave in protest or stay and defend your position/see to it that nobody gets the gasoline? The only logical option would be for the whole parliament to resign.

Unfortunately, in the recent history, many chief general were elected president. Chehab could have been one of the best president, but by accepting to move directly from the Army to the Presidency, he opened a Pandora's box !
Aoun is still seeking the presidency at any cost.
Having a less-recognized name, junior, not experienced chief general will create less competition come election time. Kahwaji is now the contender in chief to replace the current president.
