Amal movement and Hizbullah leaderships in southern Lebanon have stressed on dialogue as the only solution to Lebanon’s problems.

“The Lebanese have the single choice of dialogue to solve their problems,” the two allied parties said in a statement following an Iftar organized by Hizbullah in Nabatiyeh.

“Those betting on regional and other changes and building their strategies to reject dialogue and further complicate the crisis, are threatening the stability of Lebanon and preventing its prosperity,” they said.

The statement stressed support for the Syrian leadership in its efforts to quell the conspiracy that seeks to target it under the slogan of change and reform.

The leadership of the two Shiite groups said the conspiracy against the Assad regime aims at isolating Syria from the resistance forces in the region.

Amal and Hizbullah stressed the importance of consolidating the people, army and resistance triangle to confront Israel. “The policy of deterrence in the oil dispute is the only pillar that can preserve the rights of the Lebanese in their territorial waters and their oil resources,” they said.

Their motto is terrorism, murder, felony , rather than army resistance people. Why would they want dialogue if they could have it all by rule of arms?? It is simply because they CANNOT! Dialogue with the murderers who threaten the victim'S wider family and call them to dialogue! This simply called blackmail in plain english language, but not in farsi it seems!

Dialogue? Do they mean like the kind that Assad wants to have in Syria? Let us be clear with what these thugs are talking about. They want to do away with the M14 Opposition by assimilating them into their coup government through this faux dialogue. It is the next step on Hezbollah's agenda to creating a theocracy is to eliminate any Opposition parties to their rule and this is done by this dialogue crap.

There can be no genuine dialogue between parties where two different points of view are equally represented and consensus formed when one party is armed and willing to use its arms and the other party is not armed. This is not a genuine dialogue and will not produce a genuine consensus, but will bring a consensus of arms around those who are armed.

M14 - retain your Opposition. Avoid the trap. In the current environment it is the only and last means to realize the democracy project in Lebanon. Continue to provide the Lebanese with the vehicle for a real choice in 2013.

I sure hope someone had the good sense of evenly distributing a bunch of those handy little pine tree air fresheners all around the room otherwise one would need a HazMatsuit to get in there.
