The Lebanese Forces and Free Patriotic Movement agreed to attend the legislative session following concessions that were made over the inclusion of the parliamentary electoral law on its agenda, reported al-Joumhouria newspaper on Thursday.

It said that an agreement was reached to form a committee to prepare an electoral law and approve it.

The committee has two months to reach its goal, added the daily.

Should it fail to do so, then no legislative sessions will be held. Even if they are scheduled, they will not attend it, in adherence to the announcement made by Mustaqbal Movement leader MP Saad Hariri, explained al-Joumhouria.

The former premier declared on Wednesday that the movement will attend Thursday's legislative session to vote on financial draft-laws, but that it will not attend any later session that does not tackle the electoral draft-law.

The LF-FPM settlement over the legislative session also includes the approval of the draft-law on renaturalizing emigrants of Lebanese origin after amendments were introduced to it on Wednesday.

Other articles on the agreement are linked to financial draft-laws.

The legislative session is set for November 12 and 13 amid the boycott of the Kataeb Party because it rejects carrying out any legislation in the absence of a president.

humble, the Lebanese Forces are working based on national interests as well as Christian interests. A new electoral law representative of the Christians is no harm to anybody. Contrary to Aoun's allies who left him out to dry, the LF allies mainly Mustaqbal supported him and stated they will not attend any new sessions if the electoral law is not on its agenda. Compare that to Hezbollah who were ready to attend this legislative session regardless of Aoun's demands.

You are absolutely right. Still the caporal is pursuing his damages to the economy, institutions, national pact and even the army.
Since yesterday some of his devoted nasty followers have started a campaign against the Patriarch.
