A Syrian woman was arrested on charges of transferring funds to a terrorist group, announced the General Security on Tuesday.

The detainee confessed to providing financial and logistic support to the Abdullah Azzam Brigades through a member of the group.

She has since been referred to the concerned judiciary for further investigation.

Efforts are underway to track down her accomplices.

The al-Qaida-affiliated Abdullah Azzam Brigades has been involved in recent years in attacks against Hizbullah targets in Lebanon, which started when the party became involved in fighting in Syria.

The party has intervened in the conflict on the side of the Syrian regime.

The terror group had also issued warnings against security forces in Lebanon over their crackdown against extremists in the country.

I am not saying the m14ers are better him, far from this, but I disagree with his sectarian insults just as much as I disagree with theirs. No I am not tired of being insulted, because these insults are meaningless and come from cowards who play tough boys behind their computer screens but I know would be kittens if they ever were in front of me.
and last but not least, these insults discredit what they stand for and shame them, just like the above insults discredit what we stand for and shames us.

Shame on this newspaper for publishing and shame on the Lebanese commentators who appear to be incapable of arguing a point of view without throwing insults.

Would Naharnet please encourage Intelligent and well articulated debate by editing out anything that doesn't meet high standards.
