An Israeli army unit infiltrated the Lebanese section of the southern village of Ghajar on Friday, accompanied by over flights by its surveillance planes, reported the National News Agency.

The army unit, comprised of foot soldiers and armored vehicles, conducted surveillance operations in the village for about an hour and they also inspected the electronic fence near the area.

The incursion was accompanied by activity from three Merkava tanks along the Israeli side of the Lebanese-Israeli border near the villages of al-Samaqa and Roueis.

Meanwhile, the Israeli fighter jets flew, at medium altitude, over the regions of al-Arqoub, Hasbayya, the western Bekaa, and Iqlim al-Tuffah.

Israeli drones also flew over the occupied Shebaa Farms and nearby areas for over an hour.

as long as syria can enter at ease in lebanon without the gvt doing nothing why should israel bother of doing the same....

Translation: It's ok as long as they're not Syrian. We like to have our homes and power plants bombed and destroyed by the brotherly israeli army.

The Hezz lost Gajar territory during the war of 2006. They won't do anything. They are too busy planning the next Quds celebration.

ALL violations of the lebanese borders should be condemned with the same strength ya mowaten. even if i hate the hezb, it doesn t prevent me from hating israel too... they are for me both enemies of lebanon!
be the south one or the north one...

Wait but wasn't this part of Ghajar the one hassin lost during his divine victory in 2006? Tell us again how are you victorious when you lose land, I guess that would make General Aoun in October 1990 a conquering hero.

it wasn t an excuse for israel mowaten... i was just saying that why should the gvt condemned these violations and not the ones by syria....
as syria can enter without any trouble the gvt saying nothing, in the same logic israel can do the same!
double standards that s all :)

the trouble with you M8 supporters is that as long as one is against the hezb in your minds it means they are for israel...too simplistic don t you think?
only those who are for the hezb are the true patriots? how stupid....

Ahlan wa sahlan to the israelis... They're only the 3rd represented invading force in Lebanon after Syria and Iran.

We never learn from our mistakes, we were divided for 30 yrs of war and still are, make a strong army just like the Jewish state army that fought all Arabs and sat right in the middle and established a state despite all arabs around them. The Leb army as my dad and grandfather used to tell was the most brave army in the middle east, instead of strengthening and making our country a strong one so that invaders are thinking twice before crossing any border, we sit and defend their entry to our land from south and north because we can't do anything about. As long as we are divided and kissing a foreign country hand by relying on their financial support and arms, we are unfortunately slave to the foreign power for ever and our Government as well as the army is a weak one because anyone who is dealing with a foreign power should be legally put in jail for undermining the national government and Country.
