Trump Tightens Venezuela Financial Sanctions after 'Sham' Vote

U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday tightened financial sanctions against Venezuela following what the U.S. called a "sham" election, making it harder for the government to sell-off state assets.
The White House said Trump signed an executive order barring Americans from buying debt obligations from Venezuela, instruments officials said had been used to garner much-needed revenue for the cash-starved regime.
