Following the two-day visit of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Lebanon, Speaker Nabih Berri said the visit was “non beneficial” for Lebanon and described the US positions as “consistent” with Israel, al-Joumhouria daily reported on Wednesday.

“Nothing has changed and nothing will change. Pompeo has not provided Lebanon with anything. The only thing he took with him from Lebanon was the statement he brought,” said Berri in remarks to the daily.

Berri said the visit is “something of the past which will be eventually forgotten.”

Pointing out to what he said is Washington’s “consistent” position with Israel, he said: “Washington’s stances are consistent with the Israeli position regarding the maritime border and offensive position against Hizbullah."

Pompeo held talks over the weekend with senior Lebanese officials during his two-day visit where discussions focused on several pressing issues including the repatriation of Syrian refugees and the demarcation of Lebanon’s maritime border.

Three days ago Pompeo's visit was important in term of at least two things. That according to someone called Nabih Berri and pretending to be the Lebanese Parliament Speaker.
But now after, Ayatollah Khamenei salaried appointee, Hassan Nasrallah attacked that visit, it became "non beneficial" for Lebanon. Also according to someone called Nabih Berri, also pretending to be the Lebanese Parliament Speaker. So are there two guys different guys with different views named Nabih Berri, both pretending to be the Lebanese Parliament Speaker? Or maybe Pompeo's visit was at once non beneficial for Lebanon and important for Lebanon. WTF, just stick Nasrallah and Khamenei's pictures at the airport and in all official government buildings. Enough with this charade they call The Lebanese Republic, with institutions, a president, a prime minister and a parliament. The reality is, like that Iranian general said, "Iran controls four Arab capitals", he was correct only when it came to Beirut.
