Emir of Kuwait Wishes Diab Success in His Missions
Prime Minister Hassan Diab on Tuesday received a congratulatory cable from Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Sabah, Lebanon’s National News Agency said.
The emir congratulated Diab on the formation of the new government and wished him “success in fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the brotherly Lebanese people,” NNA said.
Kuwait’s ruler also hailed “the good and firm relations between the State of Kuwait and brotherly Lebanon.”

Not one cent should be given to Hizbollah government in complicity with FPM and Amal that personify corruption and nepotism. It is unbelievable that Marcel Ghanem and his brother never mention or ask any economic expert the primary cause of our economic bankruptcy and lack of GNP growth since Hizb took over Lebanon in 2006 when our GNP grew by 6%. Hizb arms are what is preventing investment, exodus of foreign corporations, and serious damage to tourism and economy; raising interests on debt to stratosphere. All experts know that getting out of this abyss is not possible without disarming Hizbollah and neutralizing foreign policy. Shame on Ghanem brothers. Hiding the truth from millions of Lebanese is a crime and seriously damaging the Thawra. Better to stop their show then promoting a lie. Regardless, the Thawra will succeed as truth always win at the end.
