Hassan Urges Firms to Ship, Distribute Missing Medicine after BDL Green Light

The press office of caretaker Health Minister Hamad Hassan announced Friday that “things are getting better” after the raids carried out by the minister on medicine warehouses.

The office said in a statement that Hassan was informed on Thursday that the Central Bank will start giving permissions for “1,800 pending invoices” that had been recently approved by the ministry.

The Ministry asked the importing companies to start distributing and shipping the medicines that were missing, “starting today” Friday.

The warehouses of the importers and of the distributors will be “under the ministry’s supervision,” the statement added.
