Al-Rahi urges respect for 'dignities' after Franjieh's Baroud slur
Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi on Monday stressed that running for president and nominating a president are “democratic and constitutional” rights.
“Respecting the dignities of candidates is an ethical and essential right in order to live together in peace, confidence and cooperation for the sake of our same country,” al-Rahi added.
His remarks come a day after Marada Movement chief Suleiman Franjieh addressed an apparent slur to ex-minister Ziad Baroud, a potential presidential candidate, using a Lebanese term that roughly translates into “unmanly” or “soft.”
Baroud himself considered it a “personal insult,” telling Franjieh that “insulting people does not make you a strong person.”

The only person that goes on an attack spree and on EVERYONE is the weak, looser one. Otherwise that person should simply say let the democratic voting and law takes it course.
If people want to attack this person they would have remind him of his grandad massacre of the christian in their own church in miziara and how he ran away to hide in syria under Hafez Assad protection. his grandad ran away from the law.
