Report: Israel to begin withdrawing from pilot zones, suspends 'sensitive' operations
The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation has reported that the Israeli army is expected to begin withdrawing from the so-called "pilot zones" in southern Lebanon next week, coinciding with a new round of talks with Lebanon to be held in Rome.
Moreover, the Israeli report revealed that, at the request of the United States, the Israeli political leadership has instructed the Israeli army to freeze all operations deemed "sensitive" in southern Lebanon.
