Hezbollah bloc slams authorities 'continued policy of submission and surrender'

Hezbollah’s parliamentary bloc on Thursday condemned what it called Lebanese authorities’ “continued policy of submission, surrender, and humiliating negotiations” with Israel, which is pressing on with its “killing, bombing, bulldozing, and destruction.”

Lebanese authorities “are continuing their meetings with enemy representatives in Rome, disregarding all the grave violations and the enemy's failure to adhere to any of the ceasefire obligations,” the bloc lamented, in a statement issued after its weekly meeting.

“It seems authorities are determined to adopt a policy of tolerance and good faith toward the enemy despite all its blatant crimes against people and property,” the bloc decried.

"In light of all these blatant and scandalous developments, we call on authorities to take decisive action and halt negotiations with the enemy in order to stop the series of concessions that have provided neither security nor peace, and have brought nothing but further losses and the erosion of rights and sovereignty to Lebanon and the Lebanese people," the Loyalty to Resistance bloc urged.
