3 Syrians Injured in Rocket Attack on Masharih al-Qaa

A Syrian rocket landed on a farmhouse in a northeastern border region in Lebanon on Tuesday, injuring three Syrians, one of them seriously, the National News Agency reported.

NNA said the Syrians work in a farm that belongs to Tony Habib al-Toum in Masharih al-Qaa.

The rocket fell on the farm during an exchange of fire between gunmen from the rebel Free Syrian Army and border guards on the Lebanese-Syrian border, NNA said.

The injured Syrians were taken to al-Hermel state hospital, the agency added.

The area witnessed in recent months several incursions and shelling by Syrian troops that have left scores of casualties.
