Syrian Ambassador Ali Abdul Karim Ali revealed on Wednesday that his country's authorities will hand over the bodies of those who were killed in Syria in three batches starting this Saturday.

Ali's announcement came during a meeting he held Wednesday night with Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, the National News Agency reported.

Conflicting reports surrounded the incident as the number of the Lebanese fighters killed by the regime forces in the Syrian border town is not yet clear.

Reports have said that around 22 men, among them Palestinians, were ambushed and that several of them were either killed or seized by regime forces, or have sought refuge with the rebel Free Syrian Army.

The fighters, most of them Salafists from North Lebanon, had crossed into Syria to fight alongside the FSA that is battling regime forces in an attempt to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad.

Prime Minister Najib Miqati asked the Red Cross on Monday to mediate with Syrian authorities to retrieve the bodies of Lebanese Islamist fighters.

Oh how nice of the Ambassador....at least its good for Lebanon to know that if this was Israel they would be given back. And some Lebanse still support this Syrian/Iranian regime?

They are dead and who gives a shit about them. They are nothing but dirtbags. Who are you supporting whyaskwhy? Lebanese should support their own country, not to worry about who dies in Syria. When the lebanese were dying, the syrians were prospering.

Read my message again JC and you will see that I do not support the Syrian regime.

I learned to respect all the dead persons regardless of their sect. It's a shame if one cannot respect the dead...

reading the above comments of ft and mowaten as well as on other pages shows they are just looking to increase sectarian aggression!
guys please do check their posts of today on several pages and tell me if you agree. actually it looks like all m8 posters are like that these days!
they must be becoming too nervous by what is going on in the region these days to loose it so obviously!

They needed time to meddle with the evidence that they were executed at close range.

The thug and the retard having a conversation. Don't worry the dead Hezzbo's are coming back in trucks too. The Shia families know it. These guys are just propagandizing a few dead when the Hezz hide theirs in the shadows.

mowaten I presume you were referring to the ambassadors statement when you meant making sense? As for my support for M14 or M8 for you and your friend are both mistaken. I support neither as both have proven records of failure. Read my posts I am against those who do not support Lebanon and that means your leader as well as his M14 counterpart.
