3 Rockets from Border Area Hit Northern Bekaa Region

Three rockets landed Friday in the northern Bekaa region after being fired from the Eastern Mountain Range, which straddles both sides of the Lebanese-Syrian border.

Al-Nusra Says It Executed Captive Soldier Mohammed Hamiyeh

Turkey's state-run Anatolia news agency said it received a phone call from a Nusra leader in Syria's Qalamun, who confirmed that the group murdered Hamiyeh with several bullets.

Grenade Targets Army Checkpoint in Tripoli as ISF Arrests Fugitives

"An unknown assailant riding a motorbike hurled a hand grenade towards an army checkpoint in the al-Omari area in Tripoli's Syria Street,” state-run National News Agency reported.
