Should we by now understand that Lebanon had not been and will never be a country as we now have it. Since its independence, Lebanon had lived more than two thirds of its independence in wars and the rest one third in disagreement over how Lebanon is governed and who should govern it. This Mantra of unity and co-existence is not anymore acceptable. But when Lebanon is small to partition amongst its religious groups, It's future will always be in the hands of the regional countries whose main aim is to keep on destroying Lebanon for their sake. If the Lebanese politicians are unable to fathom this, then lebanon will one day cease to exist as it is with all its factions and parties.

. The true danger comes from the Syrian refugees in Lebanon. Over a million? Among them how many are already armed? And how many more could be armed and manipulated from outside? There is no independance when Lebanon is so weak that it cannot control such a flow. They are mostly Sunnis. And this will disrupt the equation on which Lebanon is based. This is the true danger. Of course Hizballah's action in Syria is bringing us terrorism and tens if not hundreds of innocent casualties. But the danger of the Sunni syrian refugees will simple bring the end of the Lebanon we know and we love
