Israel Stages Live Ammo Drill in Shebaa Farms

The Israeli army on Wednesday carried out a live ammunition maneuver in the occupied Shebaa Farms, Lebanon's National News Agency said.

“The Israeli army has been conducting a live ammo drill inside the occupied Shebaa Farms since 5:00 pm,” NNA reported in the evening.

“Around 50 shells were fired” during the maneuver, the agency added.

The drill was accompanied by overflights by reconnaissance drones over the occupied farms and the nearby villages of the Lebanese Orqoub region, NNA said.

The agency had reported that “Israeli forces at the Mount Hermon post opened fire at dawn from heavy machineguns towards the northern and eastern peripheries, the Janaam hills and the nearby valleys.”

It said the shooting lasted for around thirty minutes.

“Unmanned surveillance aircraft flew over the occupied Shebaa Farms and Mt. Hermon's western hills” during the maneuver, NNA added.

On October 7, Hizbullah detonated an explosive device against an Israeli patrol that was passing in the Shebaa Farms, which left two Israeli troops wounded. Israel retaliated by firing 23 artillery shells at southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese group said the bomb attack was in retaliation to the deadly blast that killed its bomb technician Hassan Ali Haidar in the southern town of Adloun on September 5.

Where are the Hezbollah fighters liberating the Farms? Don't they need to secure them in order to make sure the takfiri don't invade from the Golan?? I thought Israel was letting Nusra into Golan so they can open up a new front against the Party of God...

Lol I dunno where this M14 cheering Nusra idea came from, unless you're referring to Saqr and Dahr. I'm a normal Christian against all types of Islamic extremism whether it's the Islamic State, Islamic Republic of Iran, Party of God, or the Ikhwan. Israel being "the enemy" is a Hezbo propaganda that has been forced on all of Lebanese society. Clearly they weren't the enemy when the Palestinians almost took over Lebanon. The Ouwwet was a true Lebanese resistance that stood up to the Palestinians when the army failed. Hezbollah is a purely Iranian project. Upon its creation its goals were to create an Islamic state (sounds like Daesh) and wipe out the Zionist entity.

Principally, I am for a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine. But personally, I have no sympathy for the Palestinians because of what they did to Lebanon. You can argue of it wasn't for Israel there would have been no Palestinians in Lebanon. However, if Palestinians accepted a two-state solution in 1947-48 the Palestinians wouldn't have been in Lebanon.
