Trump on Iran: 'We're gonna hit 'em hard tonight'
U.S. President Donald Trump warned Wednesday that U.S. forces would strike Iran "hard" in the coming night, after earlier declaring Washington's ceasefire with Iran over at a NATO summit in Ankara.
"We're gonna hit 'em hard tonight," he said before holding talks with Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky, saying: "They violate the agreement every day."
I wonder if Trump even realizes that he has been violating the MoU since the day it was signed, by:
- Threatening Iran repeatedly and since Day 1, which is prohibited in Article 1 of the MoU. He also threatened to assassinate the Iranian negotiators in Switzerland.
- Interfering in internal Iranian affairs, which is prohibited by Article 3,
- Escorting ships through the Oman-side channel, which violates Article 5,
- Attacking Iran, which is a violation of Article 1
- Declaring an end to the oil export waivers, which is a violation of Article 10.
