Israeli General Says Hizbullah 'More Cautious' but 'Still Intent on Evil'

An Israeli army general has expressed concern over the growing threat of Hizbullah, which he said has improved its fighting capabilities and has become “more cautious.”

“With regard to the situation seven years ago, Hizbullah is better armed, better trained and more cautious,” Maj. Gen. Yair Golan, head of the Israel's Northern Command that borders Lebanon and Syria, said, according to the Israeli army website.

His comment came at a memorial service for Israeli soldiers who died during the war between the Jewish state and Hizbullah in 2006.

Hizbullah “is facing internal challenges, fighting inside Syria, continues to be a central pillar in the axis of evil and continues to see Israel as a devil that must be exorcised from the world,” said Golan.

“Hizbullah is deterred, very deterred, but is still intent on evil,” he said.

“The Northern Command today is a strong command, trained and skilled,” he added. “We have learned the lessons of war and we’ve adjusted our training.”

Golan warned last month that Israel is prepared to use military force to prevent Hizbullah from receiving advanced weaponry from Syria.

Hizballa's rockets are only efficient against Syrian and Lebanese civilians. The hebrews better not act proud either, they aren't any better killing palestinian civilians.

And the figures for Lebanon?

Thumb Maxx 02 August 2013, 13:11

That's right, lie and deny, such as you're the expert in. A quick fact check on the internet and you get more realistic figures: Israeli losses: $ 1.6 bn. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2006/aug/15/israelandthepalestinians.lebanon . Lebanon losses: $ 3.6 bn. http://memrieconomicblog.org/bin/content.cgi?article=227 The war was fought almost entirely on Lebanese soil and Israel are professional destroyers, ma byisfo2ulak kam saroukh 3al 3ashwé2e mitl Hizbo.

To be fair, even if it was 1.6$ versus 3.6$ for us, HA did NOT lose. No one expected that.

"Hizbullah is better armed, better trained and more cautious,”... well they certainly are more cautious, that is why they are resisting with billboards now. Nasrallah will proclaim that another Devine Victory when he gives his next speech from the safety of his bunker.

All my comments have been deleted due to the word " Zionist" that I have used in my posts !
Menachem Begin was a leader in a Jewish / Zionist terrorist group that killed British Soldiers' & innocent Arabs , he later became Prime Minister of Israel !
General Sharon led the invasion into Lebanon which was Occupied for 22years , during that time he was involved in massacres of innocent human beings ( Sabra + Chatila ) one good example for which he was indicted to The Hague , he to became Prime Minister of Israel !
All I'm stating are true historical facts & comparing us Lebanese to the Israelis of how innocent we are when it comes to murdering killing & terrorising , my God they even have a official State Sanction Death Squad Called " MOSSAD " ! Now please explain anyone with a brain what wrong have I said that deserved to be deleted ?
