Hizbullah, Amal Object to Composition of Lebanese Border Talks Team

Hizbullah and the Amal Movement of Speaker Nabih Berri released a joint statement early Wednesday expressing reservations that the Lebanese team to the border talks with Israel includes civilians, calling for the delegation to be reformed so that it only includes members of the military.
"This harms Lebanon's position and interests... and amounts to giving in to the Israeli logic that seeks some form of normalization," they said.
The same delegation that the two groups objected to later concluded the first round of indirect negotiations with the Israeli side at UNIFIL’s headquarters in Naqoura.
American officials are mediating the talks that both sides insist are purely technical and not a sign of any normalization of ties.
The U.S. has been mediating the issue for about a decade, but only earlier this month a breakthrough was reached on an agreement on a framework for U.S.-mediated talks.
The development comes against the backdrop of Lebanon's spiraling economic crisis, the worst in its modern history, and following a wave of U.S. sanctions that recently included two influential former Cabinet ministers allied with Hizbullah group.
The Israeli delegation was led by the director-general of the Energy Ministry, Udi Adiri, while the Lebanese four-member team was led by Brig. Gen. Bassam Yassin, the army's deputy chief of staff.
The Lebanese team met President Michel Aoun on Tuesday who stressed the talks "are technical negotiations that only deal with marking the maritime border."
Hizbullah said last week the talks do not indicate a reconciliation with Israel. The Hizbullah bloc in parliament said that defining the border of "national sovereignty" is the job of the Lebanese state.

God bless the Lebanese government and Presidency aka Hizbullah and Amal for Objecting to Composition of Lebanese Border Talks Team and for upholding Lebanon's Sovereignty and constitution.

Pire! On peut guérir d'un cancer, c comme la merde (the shits) que tu chies tout les jours, tu t'en débarasses mais elle revient de plus belle.

Dudes.. I have a plan... A cunning and subtle one... As cunning as a fox who’s just been appointed professor of cunning.. at Oxford University.. Dahieh campus... A plan so cunning and subtle as to satisfy.. even the most diehard and immovable.. Hizbullah and the Amal bowel Movements... We send the two civilian members in the camouflaged pajamas.. made popular by General Aoun's 13/10/1990.. panicked mad dash to the French embassy.. leaving his daughters and wife behind... This way the civilian delegates.. will look like they are in the military.. without being accused of claiming stolen valor.. while still preserving their civilian identity...

kizb and their proxies don't want talks to carry over to any disputed land with israel---if that is resolved, than the reason for kizb's arms and lies will be gone and they will have a hard time justifying the existence of their arms and current relationship with iran.

We are not Palestinians and should not be burdened with continuing their fight for them----Lebanon is turning into another Gaza strip with a collapsing economy, iranian back zealots in charge and ostracized by more and more countries. Have the Palestinians deal with their own issues and don't have them hijacked by countries and groups related to Iran---Iran doesn't give a SH!T about Palestine or the Palestinians--they are just trying to find a way to relate to Arabs, and if you believe differently, then you are as just as brainwashed, assuming you have a brain to being with.

Nasrallah should be part of the negotiating team so he can ensure the outcome is fair to Lebanon. He can wear earplugs so that he doesn't inadvertently hear anything said by the Israelis.

Taking Lebanon out of the equation because of the make up of its population, in which Moslem State is there a non Moslem in the Supreme Court (in Israel there is a Moslem judge there) and many other non Moslem Judges in lower courts (in Israel there are tens of non Jewish judges), 15 out of 120 members of Parliament (that is the situration in Israel), Non Moslem senior officers in the Army and Police, lawyers, hospital department heads, doctors, nurses, teachers, (In Israel there are many non-Jews, either Moslems, Christians or Druze in these positions) not to mention thousands of students at universities .
So please stop your non-truthful claims of inequality.
